In Photos: Reasons to Try Vegan for 30 Days
See the animals used for food, fashion, and entertainment, then sign up for the Species Unite 30-Day Vegan Challenge to discover the solutions you can incorporate into your everyday life to help change the world.
Alongside raising awareness of the cruelty inflicted on animals, Species Unite also shows that another world is possible, another world that is built on solutions.
This October, we’re Species Unite is launching our 30-Day Vegan Challenge to help people discover this new, solution-focused world: delicious plant-based cheeses (for real); recipes that will trick your most carnivorous friends; and shoes, boots and bags made from some of the most magical plants on the planet.
And while we believe wholeheartedly in solutions to create change for animals, we also believe it’s important to remind ourselves of why these solutions are so important.
Here Amy Jones, a photographer and Species Unite’s News Editor, shares some of her images from documenting animals used for food, entertainment, and fashion.
Remember, the world doesn’t have to be like this, there’s another way - and it starts with us and our choices.
