Species Unite Surpasses 1,000,000 Petition Signatures for Animals

Species Unite has reached a major milestone in its advocacy journey, surpassing 1 million petition signatures in support of animals around the world.

Over the past several years, the Species Unite community has spoken out against injustice in fashion, food, entertainment, animal testing, and every industry where animals are exploited for profit and convenience. Together, we have raised our voices for animals both wild and domestic, driving real and measurable change.

This community ushered in a more compassionate future for fashion by pushing Max Mara to drop fur and H&M to cut ties with down. We defended wildlife in our home state and helped New York ban wildlife killing contests. We spoke out until Paul Watson was freed. We fought to ensure the Alamogordo chimpanzee survivors of testing abuse found sanctuary. We played a role in ending U.S. military weapons testing on animals. And together, we have celebrated meaningful progress and many other victories for animals at home and abroad because we continue to show up and use our voices when they are needed most.

Each signature represents someone who refused to look away. Each action has helped shine a light on suffering that too often goes unseen.

Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, written letters, and stood with us. This milestone belongs to the entire community. Together, we are building a future where animals are not just commodities, but individuals worthy of protection and respect. And this is only the beginning.
